NASHVILLE, Tenn. – October 15, 2014 – The law firm of Gullett Sanford Robinson & Martin PLLC (GSRM) is pleased to announce the addition of Lindsey Herren as Government Relations Professional. Lindsey comes to the firm with seven years’ experience in government relations, state government, and campaigns and elections.  Lindsey has represented a variety of clients before the Tennessee General Assembly and assisted them in communicating with state government departments and regulatory agencies at many levels.  Her experience spans industries including hospitality, healthcare, education, retail businesses, trade associations, and non-profits.

Prior to joining GSRM, Lindsey served as the Director of the Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Education Foundation, where she oversaw development, fundraising, and marketing of the hospitality industry’s educational and workforce development initiatives.  Lindsey also served on the Metro Nashville Public Schools Hospitality & Tourism Partnership Council, where she advocated career-based education and connected local high schools to industry mentors and partners.  Lindsey made great strides in developing Tennessee’s career and technical education programs related to the hospitality, culinary, and tourism industries.

Lindsey previously served as Director of Operations for Nashville-based campaign consulting firm, Fletcher Rowley, where she advised local, state, US Congressional, and US Senate campaigns.  She also served as a Public Policy Aide for Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz.  Lindsey graduated from Belmont University with a B.S. in Political Science.  While at Belmont, she interned for the Chief Clerk of the Tennessee House of Representatives, where her passion for public policy began.
