Gareth Aden, a law firm partner and trial attorney at Nashville’s GSRM Law, has a broad range of trial experience developed from over four decades of practice. Gareth has tried multi-week cases in state and federal courts in Tennessee and throughout the Southeast. He has successfully represented clients from a broad range of industries, including railroad and transportation, insurance, real estate and construction, among many others.

In the highly specialized area of railroad and transportation law, Gareth represents clients in federal and state court claims, including FELA and FLSA matters, as well as Railway Labor Act and Federal Railways Safety Act claims. His experience as a Nashville based trial attorney includes emergency response and accident investigations, wrongful death and catastrophic injury, product liability, premises liability, toxic torts, OSHA, whistleblower claims and right-of-way disputes, as well as insurance coverage problems.

In addition to his experience as a trial attorney in Nashville, Gareth also represents business clients before state and federal administrative agencies and in arbitration and mediation. His experience includes the resolution of disputes pertaining to contracts, franchises, ownership, liability and class actions/mass torts. He advises property owners, developers, landlords, tenants and management and consulting firms on the host of real estate claims, including purchase/sale and lease disputes, property line/encroachment issues, foreclosures, receiverships and insurance coverage matters. His experience also encompasses construction defects, contractor and subcontractor claims, surety bond claims and environmental and land use matters. He is currently serving on several multi-district panels defending complex tort claims.

Gareth serves as Chancellor of the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee, board member for the DuBose Conference Center, Scoutmaster and Long Rifle Award recipient for the Boy Scouts of America, and board member and past President for the Easter Seals Society of Middle Tennessee.
