Overview

Flynne is a member of the Litigation and Labor and Employment sections. She focuses her practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation, labor and employment, railroad and transportation, and personal injury defense. Flynne engages in litigation concerning and advises employers on matters related to employment discrimination and labor disputes. Flynne assists clients in developing employment policies that are in compliance with state and federal regulations, including the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). She also helps clients resolve trade secret and unfair competition litigation.

Flynne is an experienced trial lawyer and former prosecutor at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where she tried numerous misdemeanor cases and felonies punishable by life in prison. In law school, Flynne served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Marcia G. Cooke in the Southern District of Florida and certified legal intern at the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney.

Prior to joining GSRM, Flynne practiced in the litigation section at the law firm of Chepenik Trushin, LLP.
