Andrea McCoy navigates clients through a wide variety of family law matters. Her practice includes divorce proceedings, post-divorce modifications, child support, and juvenile court matters. Andrea’s experience extends to alimony negotiations, property disputes, and child custody litigation.
Prior to joining GSRM Law, Andrea served as a judicial law clerk to the late Honorable Philip E. Smith in Davidson County’s Fourth Circuit Court from 2019 through 2022. This exposure contributed to her heightened and more nuanced level of understanding of domestic law matters today.
Following her clerkship, Andrea began her journey into private practice at a respected law firm in Franklin, Tennessee, where she gained valuable experience in domestic litigation and mediation. She worked collaboratively with an esteemed partner at this time and acquired key insight into the knowledge and practice of family law.
Andrea’s commitment to her clients goes beyond the law. She invests time in understanding each client’s unique circumstances, offering both empathetic support and frank guidance that is compassionate— yet also realistic—to prepare them for what lies ahead. Whether in negotiation, mediation, or through highly tactical courtroom advocacy, Andrea’s goal is to guide her clients through what is often one of life’s most challenging experiences. Her efforts are focused on realizing results that reflect each client’s distinct familial objectives.
