Community Service

GSRM has a history of supporting community, legal and civic initiatives by contributing financial resources and volunteer hours.  Our attorneys are involved with a variety of community organizations by serving as board members, committee chairs, event organizers, and active members.  Some of these organizations include Nashville State Community College Foundation, Martha O’Bryan Center, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville, and Girls on the Run.

Organizations that are important to our attorneys, staff members and their families are given priority when donation and sponsorship decisions are made.  Some of the
organizations and events that the firm supports on a regular basis include:

  • Cheekwood4.5.13 - 4.7.13 016
  • Nashville Downtown Partnership
  • NuVasive Spine Foundation
  • Heritage Foundation of Franklin & Williamson County
  • The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee
  • Carbolic Smoke Ball
  • CASA Red Shoe Party
  • Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt
  • Race Judicata
  • Interfaith Dental Clinic

GSRM is known for its team approach (and as a fun place to work!) and that carries over into the firm’s volunteer activities.  The firm has participated as a group at Miss Martha’s Ice Cream Crankin’, Junior Achievement Bowl-a-Thon, Girls on the Run Nashville 5k and Bike MS: Jack Daniel’s “Bike to Jack and Back.”
